Has anybody installed a jaws intake? Received mine yesterday, instructions seem a little vague but I'll grab a case and massage my way through it tonight. Maybe post up some pics. I'm only concerned with a few of the bullets that say careful here, don't force it there's. Not my strong point lol.

An an outside source, on a dyno, with the jaws big shark installed, then added the intake claimed a 4hp gain with this intake scoop. I'm looking at it thinking wtf

It is really simple once you get in to it and see exactly what's going on. Instructions do kind of suck.

I initially put mine in too, but with several conversations with Greg at Jaws, he said keep it in. I have tried it with it being in and out...is there a difference?? Only a dyno can tell you, so I do believe Greg.
However....last winter, very late in the year, I took my HCR to Brent Linderman to go 925. He took it out right away. He said its useless. I quizzed him on it several times. On the other hand, he would know. He works very close with Greg, on his pipes.
So I have it sitting in a box.
So ya, it is a pain in the ass installing. You need a lot of patience. If you do use it, once you get it in, get more holes in the front and sides for air flow and cover with Frogskin. It is a must!!
To be or not to be!!! Its your preference..
