This was said about Harper too...... And now we have Trudum. Goodbye UCP and hello___________ :(

Not the same scenario at all. Harper lost the election and stepped down. Kenney stepped down because he lost the support of the party, in hopes that a new leader can be chosen to prevent the UCP loosing the next election.

I think this is a big distraction from the "world pandemic treaty" our government is about to sign with the WHO this weekend. You think lockdowns and mandated experimental jabs is over. Just wait till we see what the WHO has in store for us. All our politicans are bought and paid for. Doesnt matter if there left or right
Maybe Putin or the Ukraine can do us a favor and send a missile astray when they are all together in their meeting.

Too many right wing parties in Alberta to form a meaningful government. Too many choices on the menu ruin the dinner
I’m curious what other right wing parties have a seat or have a shot at a seat besides the ucp?

Even if they don't have a seat they can still take votes, multiple vote splits result in a 2014 repeat

Exactly! I still don’t know why people were shocked that the Federal Libs and the NDP joined forces.

You do realize , that when people have no one they want to vote for, they'll stay home, instead of voting? Do you honestly think that the last federal vote would have changed? only 33% of eligible voters voted Tru-d !!! 37% of eligible voters stayed home because they had no one they wanted to vote for! vote splitting is just more fear mongering that is thrown around to try and get people to vote a certain way.
I'd suggest less BS excuses and get more of the non voters motivated to vote? Poilievre will bring out more non voters than the O'toole ever could. and yes he will need 170 seats, you want to defeat Tru-d and Singh get involved now not latter!

fixed it! yes tru-d got 33% of the vote, with O'toole getting 34% of total vote.
tru-d only got 5.56 million votes, mostly Ontario, Quebec and Maritimes.

Exactly, the vote spitting rhetoric hurts my last single brain cell. It's follows the definition of insanity, sadly I'm beginning to believe the system is so busted it's not repairable.

It's not just our political system, the mess as with most things starts with our education system. Then how do you fix health care?

More people are leaving this country than ever before.

These days, A Vote for the person is a loss. Maybe Vote for a party that has a chance in winning.
Staying home because I don’t like this person, I don’t like that person, is a vote for the opposition.
Yah think, people would of figured that out in the last AB provincial election, and the last federal election, especially with these kids that are voting these days.

It could be just me, but I find the people that complain about the government the most, are the ones least educated about how it actually works.

Maybe if people would spend more time learning about how our electoral system works, and less time complaining about it, we'd actually get a right wing government into power.

Can we trust our electoral system.?, and if we could it's always the lesser of 2 evils to choose from it seems. We all know the United States elections can't be trusted lol, and I feel the same up here.
