Most of the good spots at Dore are still closed to sledders though. Lake is the dead end of legal riding after climbing the creek. There were drop markers last year, due to snow levels have not tried a trip there yet this year. Hard to tell where there is skiing when not allowed near where there drop zones used to be.

We rode Renshaw today. Lots of new snow and mostly blue sky day! A Higgy suggested, the snow is down this season. Think there will be a need for snow after tomorrow!

The big Cat decided to quit at the top of the ridge by the saddle! I am very surprised how hard it is to drag a dead sled.

A HUGE shout out to Tim, Kurt, Bryce and Darren from Stoney Plain. Without their help, we would have been in a tough spot to get the Ol' Cat on the trailer. This is a great group of young men! THANKS guys!

The pics of the Cat on the string will Not follow!

We were glad to help. It was a good day. Thanks for the fuel don't think we would have made it down without it. Ended up towing Derricks white dragon down think the voltage regulator quit.

Sent from my S5 while I am slacking at work.

Saw at least one sled from each manufacturer getting dragged out of Renshaw today. I almost became one of them, landed on a boulder, but just the front track shock and lower mounting shaft were the casualties

Rode Lucille yesterday, first time in there nice area. Laid down fresh tracks pretty much all day with blue sky's awesome day with good snow. Still lots of it out there. One other thing when paying the trail fees the guy at the booth mentioned there was a group of riders that skipped the booth I don't know why people do that? I tend to look at it differently then most maybe, to spend $25 to go out for the day and ride some nice terrain I'll pay that everytime what can you get for $25 nowadays nothing. Groomed trail is nice but it beats sitting at home. See ya family day weekend, daughters first trip to the mountains she is excited.

Rode Renshaw for the first time yesterday, was a good time, lost my same shovel on the trail up there. If any of you guy picked it up I'd love it back. Just bought it, never even used it

I just want to throw this out there. I hope the guy didn't think it was our group that skipped the booth. we had a group of 9 guys. we went and bought our passes right after we parked. before we even got dressed or unloaded sleds. we didn't stop at the booth before we hit the trail.
