I love these threads. what are you going to do, sit on it in the garage and go "zoom! zoom!"?? your sled will come and there will be plenty of winter to enjoy it. my X never showed up until late november, if you bought from a small dealer theirs will come in late.
on a related note, there was a truck loaded with Arctic Cat sleds sitting at the Finning shop for a week....truck must have been waiting for repairs. I bet there are some anxious Cat dudes waiting for their sleds somewhere in the Peace country.....
is it the same for polaris with warranty start dates? do they have a guaranteed delivery date?
low comprehension?I don't know what your talking about. Its sledding time.
back in the spring of '07 my buddy and I ordered the exact same sleds, the same day at the deadline....his at Stojans in Grande Prairie, and mine at Thomas Homes and RV in Peace River. his came in a full month before mine. is it because Stojans orders so many more sleds than Thomas? there were some spring order sleds that came in at Thomas before mine, but mine was the first of the sno checked models w/o e-start. his serial number was way lower than mine, could it have been a production date thing?
The poo has been in my garage for over 2 months!... I feel your pain Doo guys on the wait, it will be worth it though!
haha Im not worried I wouldnt be riding it anyway and I knew it would be mid nov for me so all good it will come.......
yeah, the PR dealer is definitely not a platinum dealer....more like "tin" status. sleds are a side business for them, their bread and butter are mobile homes and RV's. they actually had an RV mechanic working on sleds there during the winter until this spring. they finally got a real tech, a dude that has suzuki, honda, and BRP training and tickets and over 25yrs experience working on sleds/bikes/quads.It could be alot of different variables Teeroy. Stojans is one of BRP'S best dealers and is probably a platinum dealer for sure. Not sure on your dealer as I don't know them personally but if they are not platinum they wouldn't get units as quickly. It may have been a logistical thing at BRP as well as they may have wanted to wait on some more models before shipping to make a load up.Sometimes they will do second runs on models for what ever reason I'm not sure. Maybe lack of tracks, engines, widgets? Lol. Nothing is an exact science with BRP thats for sure.
I ride it everyday in my garage after work!! Make noises, zoom zoom, sidehill the concrete. I feel like a PRO! haha

don't be sorry....I was the same way waiting for my '08. just busting balls my friend....ride it first and then decide what you "need" for mods, judging by your av pic an oxygen mask may come in handy for that thin air....It would just be nice to have some time to do mods is what I was getting at a guy only has so much time between work, gym and watching sled videos before my riding season starts ...And sorry teeroy for being excited about buying a new sled this time of the year, I think everyone gets a little restless since you cant be at the lakes boating and I dont have a quad so Im going quite inpatient since last year i clocked over 4000kms of riding in my back yard of revelstoke and plan on doing the same thing this year

Kenny, Kenny the truth finally comes "nothing is an exact science with BRP that's for sure" You must feel lightness in your fuzzy slippers. lol
