My 2011 Switchback Assault will not turn off, key in off position or completely removed kill switch will not turn it of either, engine light is on and unit has no power??I have to unplug main power wires?? Any Ideas???

There should be a code being that the engine light is on. I would get that code and find out what it is. Will give a guy a place to start.

Pull your spark plugs boots to kill it if all else fails

Sled will run if the main harness is unplugged from the hood. Kill switch grounds the coil out as I understand it so it needs to be connected in order to work. Check that your connection to the kill switch is good and you have a good ground connection. you should be able to jump between the two kill switch terminals to kill the engine if your kill switch isnt working properly.

Check connections in the velcro pouch behind the headlight.
might be as simple as an unplugged connector.
