It is a faraway picture, but the finish on your pipes should be evenly coated with a nice smooth finish. They should have a bit of a shine to them, not like a chrome finish though. It looks like when they prepped them, they got carried away with the bead or sand blaster.

hard to tell from the pics - the last two don't look that good IMO from what I can see anyway.

edit: here is a link to some pics of mine: https://www.snowandmud.com/forum/14/ceramic-coating-pipes-where-33363-2.html

Go to page 2 and look at the 2nd pic, you can see the reflection of the orange plug caps in the coating on the pipe. They should be this shiny IMO at least and look like that all over (nice and even).

Hope that helps.

Well I should be getting mine back in a day or 2 and will see if they look any better, I will try to post a pic. It is not cheap to get tripples done either so they should look great.

Was this a new can or a used can? For the finish on it and the runs, I hope it wasn't more than $50 to coat it.

nope that don't look good....I'd be packn'em back....you coulda done a better job with a can of Chrome spray paint! whoever did that should be redoing them...either that or they don't know what they're doing or if they did know what they were doing ...they took you for a ride! This is what it should look like....

are there different types of finish qualities? because dynoport pipes used to come with that same color. the new ones now are shiny like the rest.

yep you bet...you can get all sorts of finishes. flat , satin but the ones on my sons sled are the chrome ceramic finish...you can get candied colors just about anything.

Good news...nice to see people stand behind their work, yes it would be nicer to have it dont right the first time, but heck we are all human, if they fix the issue, they still have my respect...
