Bargain finder, is now owned by Trader publications. I believe Trader publications is owned by yellow pages.

My nephew's wife worked for trader, and she said that when they were all bought up, the upper management in Eastern Canada decided to control the small bargain finders everywhere, and they fell asleep in the marketing dept.

I advertised my truck in the trader a couple of years back, I bought the larger ad with more features. I got the bottom of the barrel ad and was charged for the premium ad. It was a living hell to get my money back. Everytime I asked for a certain contact, they weren't working there anymore.. LOL

I recently deleted the ad my old truck on kijiji after several months of all talk and no walk offers and scammers. Thought I'd try autotrader and I'm starting to think that was a mistake. Might have to repost my ad on kijiji if autotrader is gonna call me constantly like you guys say.

The guy that owned the trader mags sold out to yellowpages just in time. I heard he got something north of 100 million when he sold.
I saw the house he's building in Vancouver over the past few years and it's a monster. Makes Katz's house in Edmonton look like a garden shed.
