There's a difference between not noticing, and not getting worked up over something you can't change.

Can't we? If we all got together we could over through the government. Hang a few politicians to set an example. Remind them that they are elected officials and they work for us. It's been done before, King Louis XVI 1793 comes to mind. Granted that was a switch from Monarchy to a democracy, but the fact remains, the subjects of the Monarchy rebelled and took out the King. In out case it would be a reminder to those that seek a role in politics that we are offering them a job and not handing over our freedom.

Ya, I guess to answer title of this thread I guess it is getting a little political. But I wouldn't say that is getting to be too much of a political forum. If this site gets banned I would say that some political leaders are getting worried that this site could be the beginning of an up rising and that the people are getting ready to behead another King.

Nowadays if you try to have a rational centrist discussion you automatically get labelled right or left depending with whom your speaking with. Even if you don't have an opinion, that automatically makes you "against me". How the &^$@ did that happen? How can not having an opinion make you against the other person. This is the part that worries me the most....right away you are an antagonist for NOTHING. Everyone has retreated into their corners so far no one even wants to listen to each other anymore.

We've become very divided, very tribal, and I place the blame squarely on the politicians. It's exactly what they want.

What happened to talking politics over whiskeys, playing cards, watching the kids stay up late and get into all sorts of fun trouble. Politics got sorted out fast and everyone went back to having fun. There were more important things to worry about, like what the next album was going to be, how many buckets of KFC were needed and who was going over to get the new neighbours. What happened to agreeing to disagree, but it did not effect your relationship with each other!? This kept everyone grounded, rational and sane. I think it improved society as a whole. Now it's all isolation and opinion.

All politicians now want you to be left wing,even the so called right wing ones, personally I want rid of all the centrists aswel,pick a side,and if it’s left yer gay!

I'm going to lie to you I'm pretty much from the right side of the spectrum, I get that people have different opinions and I try to respect that. Censorship and this movement of shaming people and things who have done questionable things flat out drives me wild.
A progressive society learns from the past and becomes better, by deleting all things that hurt "Karens" feelings we enable the hatred. Some will say it's a conspiracy train of thought but I do truly believe the government and world players have an agenda.
For those who say they can't change things you best be prepared to embrace what somebody else has decided will be your fate. I think we are headed down a dark path and that needs to change starting with government accountability.
