I've spent time in both Commanders and Mavericks and I don't see the attraction vs a RZR 1000. The BRP offerings are much noisier in the cab because of the engine in between the front seats. There is also an uncomfortable amount of heat coming from that center console/ engine cover. The access for maintenance on the RZR 1000 is a dream compared to the Maverick or Commander. On top of all of this, the RZR 1000 outperforms the Canned Ham offerings. Why buy a Canned Ham ????

Well I have been poo poo all my life. Lots of quads and 2 different sxs's.

So I went shopping with an open mind. Val and myself looked at both the hi lifter and Maverick Xmr.

We found pro and con's for both.

We decided the Maverick was more to our liking.

We have never driven one yet. But bought one.

We shopped with open mind and not by brand.

Care to elaborate on out preforms? lol.. And the heat issue was fix a LONG time ago. You haven't spent time in one lately. And again... ease of acsess.... Expand your horizons man.... You pull both of the seats out with one lever... a couple push nuts and the WHOLE engine is exposed. I never HAD to work on my maverick... and as far as maintenance... The oil plug and the filter are right out in the open... So im not quite sure what you are talking about.
