If you stop to help your buddy get unstuck and then go to leave and snag a willow (under the snow, not visible) and can’t move, would you call that a stuck? Willow was then cut and sled moved afterwards so no ski pulling. I would normally call pulling your own ski a stuck IF someone sees you do it.

Maybe I am reading story wrong. I am interpreting it as the sled was moved, just without pulling on the skiis?? The ass end was lifted (no ski pulling).
Otherwise If it was a cut and go no stuck

Tried to go. Couldn’t move. 1” diameter willow on the spindle. Cut willow and drove away. Was downhill but on a slight angle so I could stop and help.

From the get-go, I said, "no stuck”. People who call that a stuck are stretching and searching for something negative or hypocritical.

Ours if nobody sees you and they don’t know it’s not a stuck😂 Not like one of mine today, sled vert in hollow pocket tree well pinched against the tree super steep, buddy started calling on the radio after 10-15 minutes and I’m busted. After a hard wallow up to my neck, some shoveling through the seasons sno pack I managed to get out of a bad one with no help. I hope nobody rides that line, they would be in for a huge surprise😂, they would be even more surprised if they knew an old man got there in the first place and managed to get out of an impressive bomb hole solo.

I would call that.. Temporarily hung up... which is different from a stuck. 🍺
