IRON HORSE TRAIL Grooming 2013 Updates

This 'thread' is for updates when the Iron Horse Trail Grooming Foundation grooms the IHT between St. Paul to Bonnyville/Cold Lake; to Elk Point/Heinsburg; to Vilna/Smoky Lake; for the grooming season of 2013....

The 1st Grooming of the IHT was done today; Friday, January 11th, 2013; from Mallaig to Glendon to Bonnyville to Beaver River Trestle. The portion north of the Trestle to the City of Cold Lake will be done by Dean and crew this upcoming Saturday and Sunday; January 12/13/2013. Than Jerry will groom back from Cold Lake on Tuesday back to Bonnyville/Mallaig..... thanks boys for grooming...

afford to maintain and groom the IHT and other snowmobile trails in NE Alberta'

The boys from Elk Point groomed the IHT from Heinsburg to Elk Point to Armistice on Holiday Monday; it's in great shape.....St.Paul got + 5" of fresh snow on Sunday!!!!!

The boys from Smoky Lake groomed the IHT in the County of Smoky Lake this past weekend; than Jerry groomed from Ashmont to Mallaig to Bonnyville on Monday; than Dean and boys are doing the area around Cold Lake......as there is tons of snow on the IHT; but be careful as the boys made a nice deep tunnel throughout the big snowbank areas...have fun
