So from what I understand is trump is waiting for confirmation that it is in fact Iran. Trumps a baller tho. We both know he’s got some military toys he’s just itching to try out.

It’s been a couple of years since the arabs have had a shock and awe firepower demonstration from the US military. Time for a refresher on who has the biggest stick.

Unless it financially benefits the USA I doubt he does anything. He is about the money. Unless the saudis ask him for help.

I think it's the best course of action.

The less interference in the middle east the better. Most people believe the Islamic hatred toward the west is from religion, I'm a believer that its also from the American interference over the last 50 years. If your country was invaded by another country every other decade you'd have some hate too.

In them hills.
I'm not sure that Trump is the war monger that other past presidents have been, he's a businessman, what does he or America gain by blasting Iran to bits?
He needs to keep oil cheap for the states.
Anything that threatens the Saudi oilfields he will defend.

Saudi has it's own military, a pretty good one.

US is self sufficient on oil iirc unlike they were 10-20 yrs ago so there should be a lot less interest in what happens to middle eastern oil production.
They do.

And they do.
But it isn't nearly as cheap if the Saudi production is threatened.
Cheap oil is important for a strong American economy and a Trump reelection.

I'd argue that it's culture more than religion. They hate everyone equally, including themselves, but the US has a long history of making it easy for them to hate the West.

If the US was smart, they would stay out of there. Nothing good will come of it.
Oddly enough, the Saudis were the ones that hit the twin towers. Iran wants to topple the Saudi kingdom. They are rival Muslim factions. I think Iran is Shia, Saudi are Sunni.
Sunni are the orthodox that believe in non womens rights, beheadings, Taliban nonsense.
Shia are more moderate and "westernized".
Its one big cluster fck in that area.

Don’t think he’ll do anything, maybe launch some cruise missiles somewhere but don’t think much will happen. US has been interfering with the fate of the Middle East, a failed experiment. That place will forever be at war.

Gas prices going back up. Obviously due to some drone work done in saudi. Makes sense right. We don’t produce anything that has to do with gas or oil here in canada.

..............sigh

And the market is completely full and storage is at max for oil !!
But one little issue and a problem with supply and it’s excuse to up price per L.
Going up .04 cents out east and .08 cents here on the west where we don’t even use it .

The Saudi military has a lot of state of the art equipment. But, they are poorly trained and have terrible leadership.
They have a central command leadership, soldiers are not allowed to think for themselves.
That style leads to defeat. "We're under attack, what do we do?" Saudi army is frequently getting hammered by the Yemen rebels.
