Take a look down the headphone hole see if anything weirds in it. Also try plugging unplugging the headphones in and the power cord in.

Do you have AirPlay on anything by chance could be something with that.

If its still under warranty the apple store usually just gives you a brand new one right out of the box. Then they set it up for you and send you on your way. Have had a few buddies that have had issues with iphone 3gs, 4 and 4s and all of them got new phones on the spot no questions asked. As long as its not water damage or has cracks and chips out of it its usually just a straight across trade when its still under warranty. As for the android being better............ ya right. Had 3 androids within the last 3 years and all of them were pieces of s*it compared to my iphone 4s. Had a sony xperia and two samsung galaxy's and they werent even close to as user friendly and fast as my 4s.

In case you can't read propoerly I had those phones over the last three years not three years ago, the last two samsungs were within the last year. The phone never worked properly from day 1, dropped calls constantly, face sensor never ever did work always dialed numbers while talking and put calls on hold. Typing on it sucks balls, touch screen wasn't fast enough to keep up. If hands were a bit damp the touch screen wouldn't recognize the touch properly and wouldn't unlock. Also the samsungs are huge phones, couldn't even fit it in my pocket with an otterbox on it so IMO its a womens phone because you need a damn purse to carry the thing around. And what, I can compare them to the original iphone if it'll make you feel any better, they still don't work as good as a phone that came out almost 5 years ago. Pretty sad when everyone else still can't make a phone with a touch screen that works as flawlessly as an iphone from 2007. And does it really matter who makes the android (wether it be sony, samsumg, htc, nokia, lg.....etc), they are all based off the same form of android software and have all just been tryin to play catchup to apple for the last five years. The only thing some androids have better than an iphone is the camera and thats pretty easy to do when sony and samsung both made cameras before they ever made phones. Anything else you would like to try and be smart about

I call BS, my bro has the new sumsung, compared interent side by side, same website 10x atleast his phone beats my iphone EVERYTIME. It's close if it's a minor website, but one that is huge the iphone just looks like a slow turd. There is no way you can tell which one is faster if you went from one phone to another, different sites, signal strength affect it to much. Also the touchscreen is nothing to write home about, there is plenty of times where it doesn't work properly.

The iphone use to look awesome because there was nothing else out, even though it was garbage. Other phones are really catching up, while the iphone from the 3G to the 4GS have barely improved at all.

Well the old ladys new samsung doesn't even compare for ease of use and speed to my 4s in the same household with full service and like I said the new fancy samsung is so damn big with an otterbox on it it don't fit in my pocket so like I said it's a womens phone. What the hell do you need a 5"+ touch screen on a phone for? Doesn't make sense to me. Give it a couple years and all you android lovers will be walking around with tablet phones looking like retards talking on them and complaining that you can only get 2 hrs of battery life and just can't understand why............. big screen = big power to run. I would love to see someone with their samsung android get 3 days out of a battery without charging it...... ain't happening

You get 3 days out of your iphone? Either apple made the battery last forever over the 4S (which I doubt) or you don't use it to much. I have not heard of apples battery life being anything to phrase about over others. Any bit of music and internet and the iphone is dead. Many times I have to conserve power just to make it last the day.

The iphone is easy to use, WHEN it works that is the big problem with it. Half the time it's frozen or your rebooting it to get reception. It's fairly quick for most sites, but a site with a lot of pics or information and I feel like i'm back into windows 95 it's so dahm slow.

I can use my 4s for mp3 all day at work and continue to check my e-mails and net regularly and get over a day out of it. If you using it as a phone and not so much as a life line like I do 3 days would be easy

I play most of my music off of youtube, battery does not last long at all with it. Even on a average day, the battery still hits 20% nearly everyday and usually 10%. And if your using even itunes and internet at the same time you can almost see the battery life dropping it uses it so quickly. Plus I swear anytime there's a long call like 30 mins or more, the battery life must drop like atleast 15% just from that. The battery life is nothing great, I do not see how anyone could see 3 days from it.

I use it as an ipod, and as a phone, i work 12 hour shifts so while Im working I dont use it much. As for websites and stuff I have a computer with a 26" monitor so why would I use a 3.5" screen to view websites, computer is so much easier. When I first got the phone battery life wasn't great but after some settings changes and the software update I get great battery life. I took my phone off the charger Monday morning so its been a couple days now, just over and I still have 60% battery life left

I talk on mine all day for work don't really stream music off of YouTube, I just upload onto the phone, but play it pretty well all day while working and I can tell you the battery lasts far longer than on my past phones .
I can can also steam the radio for close to 5 hours while driving out of town and still get a full day out of it

So I changed the pass code on my iPhone and I forgot it before I locked it. Because u was still in the screen where you change your pass code. So my phone is still "unlocked" bit as soon as I press the lock screen button I am screwed because I can't remember the pass code. How do I fix this?

I think that one of the biggest issues I have with my iPhone is that the battery does not have that much power to get me through the day. And while an external battery pack would be available, it still is different to get it powered through the entire day. I am not that heavy of a user but I have the 3g connection turned on the whole time because of email requirements which I think is the heavy culprit.

Ever try closing down apps that stay running in the background? Double click home button, all apps running will pop up on the bottom of the screen. Touch and hold and they will go all jiggly like when you are deleting or moving them around on main screen. Here you can close those apps that are still running in background by touching little red x. Also with emails you can set how often your device will update for new mail. Immediately, every 15 min, every hour, etc or just turn it off and do manual which requires you to go into the app to update.
