Pano may not have got any snow yesterday but Forster sure did. Bumper deep in most spots, deeper up on the lakes. Still lots of hazards but things are filling in.
We parked at 22km cattle guard, others drove to 27.7 and 32 but honestly it's way faster on the sled than to drive from 22km. Trail is pretty good considering the lack of snow, Whooped single track from foot bridge.
Groomer will be hauled out this week.

Groomer is at the 19km parking lot and there is is enough snow to groom from there, reports of neck deep in places. Be safe out there rain at lower elevations on top of lots of snow.

Any updates on conditions at Forester?
We were there middle of last week and have lots of fresh all day and back into the lakes was the only 2 sleds in there.
There's still plenty of creeks open and lots of hazards sticking up through the snow but it's definitely getting better. Good couple of cycles and it'll be great.

We’re headed to fairmont tomorrow and looking to ride a couple days within the next week, new to the area. Any update on conditions? Or to anyone familiar with the area, which riding area would be safest right now to ride. Thanks in advance.

Safest would be to head into Forster. Go straight west of radium four way stop down past the mill and out the horsetheif creek fsr. Through the 4 way stop in the west side road and keep going. At km 13 ish it hits a y. Horsetheif goes left Forster goes right. Nice big staging area at km 19 on the Forster road. Just keep heading bakc into the valley. You'll hit the wood shed where the groomer turns around and then it's about another 3 or 4km to the cabin. Can't miss it just follow your nose. From the cabin if you look basically straight west into the valley it closes off in a bit of a wall. Over the top of that is thunder water lake and beyond that whirlpool. There's tons of meadow and tree riding on the valley floor and if you get a decent day with good visibility thunder water can be an absolute blast. Watch the avi conditions anything wind loaded or south facing could be pretty volatile right now. Good luck!

Has anyone been into brewers over the holidays here too? Couldn't imagine it being all to safe on a few of those slide paths that cross the trail

It's pretty spooky back there. Pano had lots of releases while doing control work. Similar snow pack in Brewer.

Forster gets a little different weather.
Went for a ride along in the groomer last night. Lots of fresh snow to be had, over 50cms on the groomer. Less than 100 riders in 7 days and it's been socked in. First blue bird day is going to be a deep one on the lakes.

Lots of snow today, socked in but got a few pokes in above the lakes.
Snow bridge is done and the trail to the cabin was groomed.

Didn't make it this weekend Darcy had to keep the boys busy on Saturday and get some payroll done. Something about employees wanting a cheque every month. It's weird.
How's the base setting up in forester most of the hazards all buried now and how's the snow settled? Much for slide layers yet?
Some buddies went into brewer in the weekend. Not super sad I missed it as I expected the snow to be great but avi conditions to be bad. Said there was some higher angle stuff broke in the trees even. For whatever reason they never even dug a trench to check the snow pack.
