So a trucker passing through the shop the other day said he saw a couple of decks with sleds heading up past the mill at radium. Anyone been poking around yet?

Lots of people hitting Farnham, Forster officially opens Dec 1. Report of 3 feet in the meadow, still early.
Club has been busy, new out house, new deck and solar light system on the cabin.
No logging this year, road will be plowed to 19km parking. Groomer will start from the 33 for now until enough snow to groom to 19.

Geez that's a long ride in! Is 19 the old parking lot with the hut? Should keep a few of the road warriors outta there maybe. How's Farnham been so far Darcy?

Yup, 19 is where the collection shack is. I haven't been out but buddies said Farnham was ok, still lots of crevasses open

Thanks, as much as I want to get out it's still to thin for me. Only going to take one big dump and it will be game on.

Ya I'm a little nervous too but the itch is getting bad. If meth is worse then this count me out!
Ya we got everything off the field. 1100 big squares of straw to stack next week when the parts come in for the stacker other wise just trucking. Didn't get any of the fall field work done tho so springs gonna be busy.
Things picking up at the ski hill yet?

Good to hear, Weather worked out perfect for our bales others not so lucky around here.

Lots of teenage ski racers in the village now. If the resort didn't have snowmaking there wouldn't be any on the mountain.

You mean Paradise mine area? Toby creek adventures manages the area. There is only 53 CMS in the bowl and They are not officially open for business until next weekend I think, but ya you can ride up there. Register at the office and pay trail fee, it's a great spot.

If paradise only had 50 cm I can't imagine how many landmines are up there!

pretty solid 60cm base thx to the supportive rain crust

Yup, friend probed 150cms. Now it's really dangerous, can't see the stumps... forecast looks dry again.
