I bet. What's that face back there big nasty I think they call it. Seen it break one day from by the cabin it was pretty amazing. Not a place to fool around on a year like this
Yup called the big ugly and it is a big one. Also the Puerto Rican is lookers left in the bowl and Robbies 2nd bump above the cabin were triggered. Dustys is the slide area on the trail and it let loose also but smaller.

Pano, looking for some advice. Spending New Years in Invermere and we are going to bring the sleds. What are snow conditions? Any recommendations where to ride? Avid sledders but new to the area. Thanks

Forster is the best bet for good snow and the only groomed trail other than paradise.

Big 20cm dump yesterday at the resort, i would expect double that and more in the back country. Crazy windy and warm too, be careful out there. Valley temps forecasted to hit +9, alpine -3.

There's lots of tree riding down in the bottom. If you can punch into the lakes there's a bit of playing on some lower angles towards the north side of the first lake but I'd be iffy to go much on the south bowl or the back end and south side of whirlpool. And for dear Lord stay out of the fingers to the east of the Dave white those could be nasty after a dump like this.

Lots of slide activity this week, Dave white area again on Tues. and a big one (3.5) at Brewer lake yesterday. S+r dispatched, doesn't sound good.
October snow fall is creating problems.

Yeah super crappy. A friend was saying that cmh bugaboo was basically carpet bombing in December and getting huge results. I imagine now with this bogus snowpack things aren't going to get much better. Condolences to those involved and heads up. Lots of good info in the bulletins.

Unreal, I was up there last weekend. Got a massive dumping. There was a father with two sons that flew in, in a mild snow storm in a personal helo. Had sleds staged up there. Never seen anything like it before...

They flew into brewer and got to the sleds they'd left in there?

They own the Antler ranch that is on the Brewer road. They flew the sleds in before Christmas and chopper shuttled in and out.
