If it wasn't such a pain in the ass to load pictures on this site more people might.
Snow levels above normal this year.

Haha oh come on boys. We've given you a thousand words that's worth a picture or 2. Rode Fernie this weekend and was talking to a couple guys said they went back into brewer last week when it was cold. He said you had to be careful on some creeks but said overall it was pretty good

Really to bad you need to look at someone else's photos to see what it's like in the mountains. Move along, try face book.

Rode brewer today, trail is getting whooped already. Been some traffic in there over the holidays. Open terrain is chewed up, if you're brave you'll find fresh lines. Big cornices above the lakes, about 170cms total snow. December hoar layer is reactive below tree line, snow is more consolidated above tree line. Road was plowed to the 10.75km parking lot.

The last creek crossing on the trail is ugly. We filled it in but still had 1 sled upside down and I broke a ski hitting the edge on the way out.

Creeks are filled in nicely for the most part.
Paradise is fantastic for snowboarding right now. Forster trail was groomed Friday to the cabin, snow forecasted all week.
I am headed to Japan Saturday for some real pow..... over 600cms already.

My friend skied the Japow last year and said it was insane. Have a great trip! Maybe one day...
