Lets all be honest most people are not going to put the flap back on but feel better about themselves because they could if they wanted to or if they remembered to. This accessory is up their with the snow plow. I will eat my words if people actually use it as intended.....

it really sucks to follow a 3" paddle with no flap especially when they a ****ing the dog and your trying to pass. Those ice chucks really ****ing hurt. This will be the new normal now i guess.

All this thing does is put more people out there on the trail without a flap because before they didnt want to commit to the cut.

I will be one who will faithfully use it as intended. I put two on this fall (one on a 2017 and the other on a 2018) and the first one (did the 2017 first) was a pita to install. Second one was a breeze as the 2018 has a cut line already identified on the inside of the flap. The 2017 didn't have a line.

i had no trouble with the pre-pinched markings on the 2018. On my sled, they were made for the mounts for the tail flap.

instructions on the 17 are clear where to draw a line for the cut.. what was the problem?

Instead of buying a new shovel this year, I'm just gonna follow you and pick yours up off the trail when it falls off. Thanks in advance.

I find it much easier to get unstuck in so many situations without the flap. Guys need to remember that they are sharing the trail when they ride without one though.

You have to see the tunnel bag first hand.

i actually would have no issues with the shovel coming off that bag. Straps
are sewen into that bag before the buckes and tight against the hardshell. More importantly.. still the best way to mount the snow flap i think.

I dident mount the Linq brackets to my tunnel... I'll just toss the flap off with my gas can when I hit the alpine...

might use the extra brackets to add a 3rd option on the tunnel seeing as how the old style gas can and the new SR21 tunnel bag won't both fit with the pre drilled locations... Or I'll move the rear brackets back a hole... Sure do miss the old T-slot system on my Polaris... And my Brundt flyer bag... And Polaris clutching.. And... And... And...

I found this out the hard way but was able to make it work properly with minor tweaking. Didn’t have to redrill.

Crazy that BRP engineers aren't smart enough to make this snow flap removal system width and link widths the same but then they couldn't charge 144$$$ for it I guess

It makes sense to me. If they were the same width, there would be someone putting a full jerry can on the back and then the tunnel would be vulnerable to damage.

Couple of our riding partners have utilized this feature , I'm not convinced yet it's really necessary and from a safety or consideration aspect it seems a step backwards , but regardless one negative in my opinion is when stuck you can't really get your hands in a strong position on the bumper to lift. And when you do get it up and moving its happened a couple times it's difficult to get your hands out , pinches like hell. And I'm assuming they have it installed correctly.

when i seen those come out last year i called the dealer(i want to say it was martin motorsports or courtney motorsports) and they said that it wasnt released yet but once it was released they could order one.
you would have to pay exchange and shipping. i think it looks like a great idea.
