From the staging area up the main trail for 2 km's I collected this today. The staging area was clean as someone else had been "the mother". So for 2 km's along the trail this was collected....I know it isn't all from sledders but the majority has to be. If it was the tree huggers that cleaned this up you can imagine the bad press we as sledders would be subject too!

We gotta start cleaning up our image guys and gals; quite simply, pack out what you pack in!!! The back-country shouldn't be anyone's garbage pit....:nono:

I know this isnt any excuse but a lot of it comes from open seat trunks and unzipped backpacks.

Good on you for bringing this up Doug. Not to start a $hit storm, but what is equally as disturbing are those who feel they must drink while riding. To me there is no place for this in our sport. Leave it for the trailer if you're not driving, or for when you get home.

I don't know if you've tried drinking and driving ...... its really tough! Helmets in the way, balaclava, not to mention I have a hard time seeing where I'm going with my head tilted up like that! lol

That said there is nothing wrong with a couple of refreshments while enjoying a nice ride as long as you are within your limits. And absolutely pack out what you pack in!! Thanks for cleaning up guys!:d:beer:

Unfortunately it's just how 'yer brought up... That being said it still sets a good example to take the time and pick up stuff left behind, as most on this site probably do. And a lot of trail litter is unintentional as stated above, flying of of open pouches or bags. Kinda like when I littered my GPS out my unzipped handlebar bag recently :(
