I've been away from the sled scene far to long. Anyway after doing some research and lurking on this site, it seems to me sledding is kinda like jet boating in regards to depending on where you want to go boating you could easily have 3 or 4 boats in your toy shed. Although it would :firefire: it wouldn't be practical on the pocket book. However, it is fun to dream.

So I'm thinking if a guy was going to put some sleds in his toy shed he would need a 2 up, a boondocker and a mountain sled. If you could, what sleds would be in your toy shed?

yea true that i hear yea there but what really is the point of a trail sled?

My bride won't run the boat or drive the quad. She loves to be involved in these outdoor activities...soooo for me and I'm sure for others as well I need a 2 up trail sled so that she's not at home doing this :funnytv: but instead having fun with me doing this :Snowmobile1: and if I can keep her happy, she might let me do this in the summer :av-31:

Cheers

I understand the point of trail sleds is to ride on trails?;) LOL...

Myself, I hate trail sleds, they seem to look to me as their made for people over 80! They just seem old fashioned. As for trail riding, I do it, but if there's some nice fresh untracked snow beside a trail...I AM DEFINATELY NOT TAKING THE TRAIL...the only trails i ride are going to be up and down mountains and the odd sled rally.

Unless you are riding the trails hard and fast, go with a moderate mountain sled, 800 with 144" track, with 2-up seating. Having ridden both sleds, mountain sleds offer much more fun factor. When the wife is at home your not restricted by deep snow.
