I am currently in the middle of putting in a two wheel axle (not big wheels, I'm cheap) on my 04 rev extreme. Is it worth while to remove the idlers at the front of the rails, I did this years ago with my 96 mach and saw no issues. It looked better and was a bit lighter. Any thoughts?

Pull the idler wheels, but put scratchers on, this will save your sliders

If you use the stock wheels with 20mm bearings on a two wheel set up make sure those bearings are not worn in any way. Better to replace with new ones then risk one coming apart as there is increased strain when losing the third wheel.
