Here's a pic of my install...View attachment 143011

I did the same as you brew-doo, but I made a slight mod.... The way you used closed eye bolts tells me possibly on the left side of the skid that the eye-bolt MAY work itself loose throughout its use, since the scratcher puts pressure down on the eye-bolt on the left side, same direction you would have to turn the bolt to loosen (righty tighty, lefty loosey)...

I "notched" the eye-bolt and mounted it VERTICAL instead of HORIZONTAL like you.. that way there is direct pressure on the center of the eye-bolt, versus the side of the eye-bolt...

Plus, you dont have to worry about smashing ice out of the eye-bolt with it notched like mine... Just pop the scratchers on top of the ice and the spring tension of the scratchers does all the work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@ Brew_Doo, I love it... how good is it after you get up the trail and your skid is covered in snow or at the end of the day when everything is iced? usually have to clean the rails off before I can get my scratchers back on and secure once you reach the cabin.

They work great - if the eyebolt is iced up, the ice just pops out from the force of the scratcher tip going into the eye. 2300 km on the set up with no issues so far...
