Sorry to hear your loss. Looks like it is going to need more than a boob job! The wife blow her 670 up two years ago now, Crank bearing went. I did a crank exchange out of Quebec. It was half the price of a new one, gave me a core charge credit towards the new one. They come with bearings installed and spaced/ gapped already, no seals though.
Good luck

That's always in the back of my mind while ridding. Stock or mod, it happens, not when but how bad! If you are looking for more power, contact "Hooper Racing", I was lucky enough to ride with a 1404cc (900 bottom end) last weekend in McBride. He was pushing 270hp on pump fuel, nice sled. With all respect to the apex turbo that was also ridding with us. The 1404 was a better sled/weight/power/no tweeking.:twocents:

Hey Tekim... I read you post on Arcticchat regarding this misfortune. Next time you hear or feel your engine start to calve shut it down asap! Better to tow it then to try and limp it down the trailer. :nono:

If you had shut it down right away it might have been a quik inexpensive fix, possibly... that 900 is scrap metal now... i've never seen a motor that hammered.... It must have sounded like someone shaking a tin can full of rocks?

I can't possibly imagine any component of that poor motor from topend to crank case that is salvagable... since it was run for an extensive period of time after burn down.

:DJack up the rad cap and slide a Yammi under it.:D

If everybody else is kickin poor TEKIM when he's down, I might as well join in.
I think most of us are "School of Hard Knocks" graduates around here. That's why there is so much good advise on what ya should have done......

Good luck with your bride TEKIM.

The only problem with puttin a yammy in it is it'd slow it down...LOL.. And add an extra 100 lbs... LOL... Tekim has a few options... PM me and i can give you soom idea's...
