Hello,
I'm having issue's with my home furnace again, and need someone to come over, to properly look at it and repair as needed.
My house was built in 94 and I'm assuming the furnace is original, it's a "KeepRite" furnace.
Long story short..... The house is not very warm and the thermostat is pretty much cranked. I bought a new thermostat on Sunday, but it's for a 4 wire and mine is a 3 wire, with only 2 wires being used......

I'm putting this out there, if you would like to work for cash, or have a buddy that knows what they are doing and would like cash?
I'd also be interested in referrals, to a heating company, if no one here can help? I have the # to "A & B Plumbing and Heating", they were going to be my first call.

Thank you

Yes, good luck with finding a "good furnace man"........................

In my experience, a "good furnace man" is very hard to find. There is always something else wrong and what was fixed wasn't really the problem. Just my experience with furnaces....................

Wanna bet you'll end up with a new furnace?

Not regular enough.... I was told to maybe take an air compressor to the furnace and clean it out.
Gf's mom works at a place called Provac, they have mobile furnace vent cleaning trucks, basically a vac truck and compressor truck, they cut a hole to access you furnace, stick their huge vacuum on the hole, turn it on, inflates big bags to collect the dust. Then the guy goes through every vent with an air hose that has 3 rubber noodles on it that flap around crazy to knock free and push all the dust down to the vacuum he has hooked on. Cost about $150-$300, but helped our furnace out a ton, waayyyyy less dusting, cleaner house, and helps people with allergies.

We get this done about every two years or so. if you have pets maybe more often? You should also clean the flame sensor (or thermopile) with fine sandpaper or emery cloth every year before winter sets in. It can save you many a cold mornings from scrambling to get things warmed up in the house!
