How does the united States with all its resources come up with this equation ? They have 4 percent of the worlds population yet have 25 percent of both the Covid 19 cases and 25 per cent of the Covid 19 deaths.

Kinda makes you think something else is going on doesnt it?
possibly someone in a position to leverage the equation is just bored with it regardless of the consequences.

Well the 25% cases could possibly be explained by the US having the highest numbers of tests done.

The 25% deaths is due to falsefied death certs. If someone dies and has covid or is presumed to have covid then the cause of death is labelled as covid, regardless of any other existing health issues. Notice how the pneumonia deaths sure dropped of this year....but covid deaths rose...

Also, many of the deaths that did occur in the US is from some nasty governors who forced covid patients into nursing homes (yes the most vulnerable people).

It’s an election year, if COVID and now riots weren’t inundating the msm news cycle all that’d be left is Trump exposing Dems corruption..
I still maintain there are bigger powers at play and the Trump victory in 2016 decimated “Their” plans...

I think both your points are valid and your second point is true in many other countries as well while some are understating there death totals like Russia for example. One area I believe the states is really dropping the ball is in contract tracing where countries like south Korea have done well. In canada as well we have struggled with the nursing home infections as well as the close proximity work like meat processing. thank you for your thoughts. It is really going to be a challenge for the Usa to contain the spread in spiking states that are happening now.

I honestly believe there is corruption on both sides and thats just how politics works. The Attorney General is not Trumps person lawyer is the actions and that is the actions he is taking. That being said I think the FBI took shortcuts and where biased towards Trumps Campaign and if the Truth comes out that is a desirable as well.

I think that the rest of the world is taking this virus rather seriously and being cautious.,,,handwashing, responsible distancing, etc. Let's get back to work, let's take precautions because this thing is here and it's not going away anytime soon

America is not only dealing with a deadly strain of a corona-virus they are also dealing with a dead strain of stupidity.

Donald Trump, "self proclaimed health-expert" and "smartest man in the world" is part of the problem by not showing responsible leadership making stupid off-the-cuff comments.....he may be a good business person (many would argue otherwise) but as a leader during a crisis.....he's a major failure. I just watched a video of Trump questioning the name of the virus and why it's named covid 19....really? 6 months later and you're still making remarks that it should be called KungFoo virus or Wuhan flue? To see these comments on social media by private citizens...that's kind of expected...but from a world leader....time to grow the **** up.
How can a country take this virus seriously when their leader is mocking the medical experts. Not saying we should shutter the country but making fun of those taking precautions and promoting large gatherings....rather irresponsible for a person of his caliber and stature.....

I mean, even the EU are talking of banning all Americans from entering their country....

That's part of the problem with the American culture, "freedom" and "liberty" at all costs. There are so many Americans that believe the government is just an inconvenience and has no right to tell them how to live, so they voted for the leader that supported that idea, Donald Trump is the result of that.

It also speaks volumes about the American education system, there are a lot of highly educated people in the US, but also a lot that have received very little education. The amount of calls the poison control centers in the US got after Trump suggested injecting Lysol to prevent the virus is proof of that.

You hit the bullseye.

There will be more craziness right up until the election. Higher level Dems are fighting for thier lives, if they lose this election they either go to jail or even death penalty for some.

Thank you for following your instructions and regurgitating the progressive, CBC and CNN approved talking points. Like everything else bad in the world, its Donald Trumps' fault..... Covid, earthquakes, hurricanes, wildfires, tornados, all because of Donald Trump..... just imagine how much better the world would be with Justin Trudeau was the president of the USA, with Gerald butts whispering what to do in his ear and George Soros as his chief economic advisor.....the police would all be defunded, blacks and natives would all be living off of the reparations paid by whitey, allowed to break whatever laws they want and never have to work another day in their lives.....the media would all be government controlled and run my LGBTQ and gender approved censorship boards, and progressives like you would be in hog heaven, flitting around in rainbow coloured clothes telling everyone how inspiring and empowering society is now.....

Yup..... freedom and liberty......can't imagine two things more problematic in the world.....hopefully progressives will some day eliminate them and install a value system and government that is better..... perhaps something like Venezuela has today.....

The Don could certainly use improvement in some areas.
Presently the US is a very troubled country where as in Canada we have a wingnut who will soon have us all Fawked up beyond return.

Did you get all that from my post?? LOL...., yah...nice try....

I am blaming Donald Trump for how he is handling this covid crisis. Not sure where you inferred that I included hurricanes and wildfires and tornado's.....?????
And, no I am no where near a Trudeau supporter... sheesh you really jump to conclusions on things you read....lol

If you think that Trump is making things better by poking fun and mocking the medical industry, you too are part of the problem. As a world leader, he needs to realize that when he makes stupid off-the-cuff comments, people listen to him. He needs to coach the American citizens to maybe go on with life but take precautions....

The world leaders have not asked people to be cautious because of Tyranny....they are asking you to take precaution because this disease is real...tens of thousands of people have died. This thing spreads like nothing else we've seen before....

This is not like a hurricane.....in a hurricane, no matter what precautions you take the hurricane does not lose its strength. whether you do or do not board up your house does not affect the power of the hurricane.

But this virus can be weakened....if we take precautions, we can weaken this virus...its proven. If you fail to believe that and prefer to call me names, that's your call. Trump can help lower the infection rates if he would lead his country with that in mind....we can weaken this with some common sense.

But, please don't twist my words into your agenda.
