I agree that respect for private property is paramount, but.....

Doesn't the way this notice has been written make you feel like you are a lower life form?

jeez, I think it's a step in the right direction....we've been treated like criminals by powder king (Azu Villiage for those that were sledding there before Powder King) for many years. I haven't rode there in some years now due to the amount of theft and vandalism in the staging area. they were downright communist if you dared park in their lot or ride on their "property" back in the day, nice to see they are at least giving sledders a chance to co-exist with the two plankers and boarders

I should mention that this notice is a number of years old already. The way the wording comes across just doesn't sit right.

Nice! They can't even get through the first sentence without a spelling mistake! Real professional! :suspicious:

[h=2]Here's what it would have meant if they'd spelled it correctly.....

Full Definition of ENTIRETY[/h]1
: the state of being entire or complete

No, but I bet there will be enough azzhats that violate this to make them rethink the whole idea.
I was kind of offended by the way it was written. But I think (and only guessing) that they have had enough azzhat sledders, that that is why it is written like that.

Looks like whoever wrote the notice is a frustrated snowmobile hating lawyer. I couldn't be offended by the wording because it tries to be official but really is just saying please stick to the trails and don't rip around where we ski. I had never heard of the place and it doesn't seem likely I will find myself in their neighborhood.

I doubt a lawyer wrote this, if it was they were paid to much or didn't use spell check (spell check my only savior with office correspondence:p).

Personally I find with things like this that come across as offensive or provoke anger is because it hits a nerve. Without starting an argument if the rules set out in that notice tweak a nerve I would have to ask myself why? If asking why makes me realize I am offended because the restrictions are something I would rather do then respect access then I would just have to stay away.

On a side note, if I can sled up to a ski resort for food and refreshment that is a bonus in my books. Like most things in life it only takes one to ruin it for others and I really hate THAT guy/girl and do everything not to be him. We get enough negitive attitude from the public over noise, traffic, bi law and law enforcement and yes search and rescue issues. When given a chance we need to go the extra step to make it a good thing not a sore spot because of a poorly writen notice by someone.

What's the problem??

It's their land, they are granting snowmobiles access and being quite clear about requesting respect for their property.

They are stating that if these guidelines are broken by disrespectful sledder's, then access will be denied in the future.

I agree. Follow the rules or be gone forever.

I think it's great that they r finally realizing there's a need for a relationship of some sort, good for them for laying out the rules in black and white and posting them publicly. Their game, their rules, if the way they structured or displayed those rules really bothers you, don't go there. Literacy is apparently not their main concern also.
I really hope as a sledder that some azzhats don't go screw it up for everyone, cause this could be a good thing for all.

I don't find it offensive. Stay on the trail, try to be quiet and stay off their 5500acres is how I read it. Ive never ridden the area, so whats the rest of the story:confused: Braap, braap, braap, braap....lol some guys really need to learn some throttle control I agree.....

Hee hee. Mentioning literacy and using azzhats in the same paragraph. LOVE IT.
