He almost looks like a cross breed with a Mule Deer the way his forks look in the second pick. Awesome deer, Congrats. I'll be having tag soup for my Muley this year but there are 3 families freezers full of Moose for the winter.

crappy pictures, i looked long and hard at him, thought he was mulie'ish when i first seen him. The area i shot him in has next to no mule deer there, very rare to see them.

coming back from vegerville today i seen a 6 point bull elk run right across hwy 16 right in front of us and booked er across a stubble field turned around down a gravel road to follow him got up pretty close was looking for a ear tag or something didnt see anything didnt think there were elk around those parts maybe came from elk island or something ????:confused:

We have a tag in zone 334 for a cow elk,they say Lindale area people have seen them???

I wasn't able to get out much this year..to busy working, I did manage to get a small 3/3 white shot..should be good eating. Here is a picture of an Elk my buddy shot down by Cypress Hills on his ranch. Note he is about 6' 3" just to give you an idea of the size...it grossed 379 and netted 372
