Looks like the Yotes had a good feed though...

..Scotford I do know where it was..... At my place ! Only thing I found so far was a lower jaw bone, The rest of the bones I would think are spread around the pasture ! :(

There is a big Decrease in the moose population over the years, due to predetors like wolves. If i see any wolf, it wont be alive after,

I am leaving tomorrow for a 7 day hunt SW of Calgary. Hunting moose, elk, whitetail buck, and mule deer buck. Taking the predator call aswell for some afternoon fun. I just bought some 185g berger bullets, going to work up a load today see how they work.
When I get my moose or anything for that matter I will post pictures.:d

Just got back from the hunt and it went well. I was able to fill my Bull moose tag, and whitetail tag. The first day out we saw four bulls 2 of which where 50+inch bulls, but never could get on to them. second day saw some small bulls but nothing I was ready to shoot. The third day I think I was getting an itchy trigger finger and shoot a small 4 by 4 whitetail....with my moose gun 358 norma!! at 280 yards...laser rangefinder. Friday morning went out looking for moose again saw lots of good fresh sign. So I decided to do some bush whacking.. 5 mintues into the bush and I was starring at a bull moose less then 100 yards away, I got set up on tree, and had a good shoulder shot shooting lane through the tree's and took it!. Well that 358 did what I had bought it for...to drop a moose and it did!!. That night by friend and his father-in-law shot 2 elk, one bull and a cow..so needless to say it was a long day of getting critters out of the hills!!:d On the rack at the meat shop my bull moosed weighed 475lbs that's after gut and skinned.:d
I'm sorry no pictures I left the camera in the truck last night...and I lost all my pictures....not very happy about that!! Good thing for the great hunt, and the great memories!!

This is the bull I arrowed this fall 20 minutes from home. I've never seen a bull this big break both main beams. If he lost them fighting, there has to be a monster in that area and I'm gonna find him next year:rolleyes:. He was 585 lbs at the butcher and he's pretty tasty.:d:d
