Actually as one of the apparently uneducated you need an upgrade, there are no new leases issued for open pit mining of oilsands. Existing leases stand but all new undeveloped leases will be sag- d.
And for those clean electic cars where does the power come from? Flooding vast areas after damming a river, burning fossil fuels in power plants or wind turbines that kill thousands upon thousand of birds every year.
