Well maybe if they would take some responsibility for their own spreads, I’ve seen houses they can’t even close the front door on or fix a few blown off shingles and somehow that’s our fault!?

The system they live under has a lot to do with the deterioration of the housing. The band owns everything and everyone just lives in the houses assigned to them. The band does not spend any money on maintenance so everything deteriorates quickly. No incentive for the occupants to do any repairs and no pride of ownership.
