Yeah, ya gotta say cash, I know that makes me cream when someone low balls the crap out of me but says CASH.

If he does say yes to the 500, you then need to (In typical kijiji fashion) never contact him again.
Or.... after he says yes he will take 500 (CASH) you then email him back and tell him you have no way to get it you need it delivered.

Cash is the most valuable form of currency. It is worth more than other mediums of dough, such as cheques, bank transfers, bank drafts. It is worth half again the value of these. See, now don't low ball offers make sense.

when someone offers me a "cash" price I usually respond by telling them I was hoping for goats and chickens but I would consider an increased cash offer based on the current market value of livestock, rarely do they reply

I'm looking at a 120 for my little guy for this year. So I find a Polaris 120 for less than 2K. Ok deal I figure, looks in good shape. I have seen this same sled listed quite a few times, taken off Kijiji for a couple days, put back on, taken off. On and off since the end of the season. Always put on for the same price again, same pictures. Then I inquire about it, still says firm on 1700. Ask for more pictures. Never sends any...such a fail. Grr.

Overall even with the brain deads I love Kijiji. We just picked up a solid oak dining room set worth over $3000 for $500 and a mix & match of antique & contemporary living room furniture for $600, when my wife was pricing out what she was after new the tab would have been north of $7000, this way she is happy and my cheap azz only had to shell out $1100, now I get to shop for a new to me boat....lol

If you know anyone going to the U.S.A they are pretty cheap there. I went last year and picked up a 2008 ski doo mini z 120, like new real cheap for my daughter, There are lots of them on craigslist for sale. I could have got any brand I wanted. It was easy to bring back as well.

Alaska craigslist is pretty dry for them. I called a Polaris dealer, and he stated that they can't sell to Canucks. Apparently they got into trouble for it...I told him I didn't care about warranty on a 120. If I was buying a new 800, that would be different. He said that the only way around it (as he said 'wink wink') was to get an Alaskan PO Box. Which wouldn't be hard.

So much for north american free trade right?

Yeah might look into the PO Box in AK. Its only a two hour drive...a lot of online places will ship a ton of stuff for free within the US. Restrictions on Alaska mind you, but better than getting bent over a barrel getting a US company to ship to Canada.

Sorry, kind of derailed this thread. I'm going to look for some mannequin body parts on Kijiji now.
