Had my boat for 12 years, have never cleaned the hull and it was pretty gruesome.
Tried some cleaners a couple years ago but no real success.
Picked up some Spray nine boat bottom.
Put it on and 5 minutes later...bam...just wiped away 12 years of dried on lake scum.
Friggin amazing.

I found a similar product my garage today. Will try it on my boat when I bring the boat home in the next few weeks

Original Blue Lysol and peroxide 50/50 mix. Spray it on and the black comes off instant. I leave my boat floating all summer and the black slime line comes off as fast as your squirt bottle sprays. No scrubbing or rinshing. Must be original blue Lysol. Not the scrubbing bubbles or new blends

I used F11 on the aluminum sled tunnels in the day. A lot of work. I'm thinking snochuk is onto something.

The brown scum is disowned clear and just wipe and rinse.
954ml bottle, 800ml left after doing full hull on a 19'x8' boat.
Good old Canadian Tire.
Putting in Lowrance Elite Ti-2 and wanted to clean hull to epoxy on 1" thick pick board so no mounting holes in hull.
Could do 6 boats easy on one bottle.

I wonder how this would work to clean the underside of a trailer awning? They always go brown when water gets in and are hard to clean because you have to work overhead and try to scrub and spray with all the stuff dripping down your neck.

Maybe we should start a "Great Cleaning Chemical" thread? I bet everybody has a favorite for something. I am in the water treatment business and have some specialized products I could add.

I’ve done the under side of my awning a couple times now. What a pain. But so rewarding when it’s shiny white again

Great idea Chris. These are 2 of my go to cleaners. There is also a product from the same company as the awning cleaner that removes black streaks from trailers. Both works incredibly well. Totally Awesome is amazing on vinyl in boats.

Magic eraser works awesome on everything! My boat gets black streaks from tree branches and stuff. It being a white boat it shows up like crazy. The magic eraser takes it off no problem

Toilet bowl cleaner is what we used at the shop. Zep Alcare and get the gallon jug. Spray it on but be sure your down wind and scrub with a brush on a long handle. Rinse with water

I use toilet bowl cleaner as well. went to Extra Foods and bought the no name brand cleaner, it's a gel type stuff. squirt it on and as it slides down it erases the water scum like magic. wear gloves tho, pretty rank stuff if you get it in a cut on your hands.

Hell ya man long time no hear!
It's not a jet, wishing now that kids are grown up but I have enough expensive hobbies!

Wild Cat XX is next.

Full conversion complete now hey! Glad you’re having a good time with the Cats. I gernaded my iPhone up Clemina and lost 27,000 pictures and 3800 contacts, though I had a backup but noooooope! So getting around to getting around again.
