I just wantred to post a short note to intriduce myself. I joined this forum a while back but haven't found time to sit down and right an introduction. I live in NW Calgary and try to get out to the mountains as much as possible. I have enjoyed reading all of the posts in this forum. I hope to try and meet some new people and maybe get out for a ride soon at Cataract Creek. It sounds like the snow out there is great.

Welcome to S&M. I am new to the site as well and joined it last month. I was out for one of the first rides in Cataract after the big dump and yes there is lots of snow to be found there.
Have you taken an avy course and set yourself up with a beacon and gear? I'd be interested in riding with ya sometime and think Cataract can be a lot of fun. Something for everyone out there when there's good snow. Might be going this weekend again.
