hello i bought a 2000 summit 700 2 years ago and the guy said it had been stretched to a 151 but it doesn't look like a 151 to me. how would i measure the actual length of it?
Thank you
They have a part number on them. Usually close to where it says camoplast mountain on the outside middle between lugs. It would be something like 9916M for example. Get that and call the parts guy at the dealership and have him tell you what it is.
First measure the distance from the center of one hole to the next. Probably 2.52(pitch) Then count the number of holes and times it by 2.52 and you will have the length. If it is a 2.52 pitch and a 151 it will have 60 holes.
ok so now i know my track is a 150 3/4" length. how the heck do i put it back together now?Cut it in half and mesure it.

i was thinking some fencing staples withe the backs bent over to the outside of the track.
has any one ever done this? how did it work? how many staples did you use?
thanks
Pretty sure the Millennium Summit came with a 144", 2000 Himark had the 151.
this is the sled 151??

looks like a 144 to me. just get the part number off the track.... its not hard to find.
u can always just run a string around it. measure the string and theres your length.
