How to ride the back country

Don't let this thread I started give you any illusion. I fully understand how serious the snow conditions are. We cancelled a trip to Revy because of it and reluctantly put the sleds away for this season. Two weeks after the tragic deaths at Harvey's Pass, we watched five guys trip a slide in the Notch area as posted by Dobir. My thread was posted to lighten my anger at those who are so callous towards the victims, their families, friends and survivors. If my so called humor gives you that impression, it was not mean't to. After a such a horrific season and so many people have died, I only have my humor left.

The scarely thing is, that with all our preaching, coaching, anger, & humour, it probably won't reach 1 % of those that need the info and the carnage will continue.
