do you guys think a manual hand saw would work??

mine is the same as that 08 dragon you have, woven through there like a wicker basket. another brilliant polaris design..... i added a 7 inch riser and I'm about 5-8

i dont think so it is really tough it took me quite a while to cut it off...just hard to hold cuz of the heat and the cables being in the way!

Sure, a hacksaw with the right blade will slice through the aluminium like butter. Your 5'8" and putting on a 7" riser? might be a bit much, maybe you don't want to be cutting the stock one off. I'm 6'3" and went back to the stock riser on my 08 800 (5 1/4") as the 7" one I put on was to high for me.
