Really great insight Dave. I'd like to add Loyalty. In my years as a dealer guys wanted you to sponsor them but they would leave if a better deal came along in an instant. As a dealer it kind of turns you off to the whole program. Like you said the ones you want to keep are the ones that under promise and over deliver and then you make it worth their while to stay.

Video says you have to be positive and nice to have a chance.......for you it means start the combine and for me grab another OT shift

Really great insight Dave. I'd like to add Loyalty. In my years as a dealer guys wanted you to sponsor them but they would leave if a better deal came along in an instant. As a dealer it kind of turns you off to the whole program. Like you said the ones you want to keep are the ones that under promise and over deliver and then you make it worth their while to stay.

Loyalty... yes if you go big and drop 100ft cliffs you will get sponsored. Get hurt one time and it all disappears in an instant.

that may be a polaris or cat marketing tactic but skidoo could care less about the riders ability, they want good people passionate about the product, just look at their team. Not one of them is extreme by any means. Just good people with lots of experience

yup, true he was. But i think they were more interested in all of his other attributes to mountain snowmobiling.

This is true of most relationships.... Employees, Co-workers, Volunteers & Friends
