like the post says, what can a guy use, film, paint,i dont know, want it black.....

Back in the day we used to spraypaint the backside of the windshield with a good plastic gloss paint. The window then looked like it had 20 layers of clearcoat on it. Not sure what everyone does now.

I did the same with some Firecat headlight covers a few years back. Even with the heat from the headlights it worked perfectly. As long as you paint the inside of the shield it will even look like it came from the dealer

Used Krylon Fusion paint on a buddies Xterra trim years ago, still looks great, check it out, pretty sure it's a rustoleum product, made for plastics

I wet sanded the inside of the windshield with 1000 grit paper to give it a good profile for the paint to stick. It will look like sh!t after you do this. Almost like frosted glass. Then I used Krylon Fusion black paint on it. It looks awsome and hasn't chipped one bit.

JohnniT is correct!! Use the Pactra spray paint from the hobbie stores it's flexible and made for plastics. Give the windshield a good soapy wash and dry. Tape or cover the front to prevent overspray. Apply nice even light sprays usually about 2 cans to the backside not the front. Then finish it off with a silver or white spray this keeps it a solid black without allowing any light thru.
