If he waits a couple months the incentives will be better.
What you pay will depend on options ,financing , no financing , incentives and so on.
Buy at the end of the month also helps.

Its insane how much more it is for a loaded up truck vs reasonably equipped. I paid just a hair under 40 for mine before tax, but its just a 301a package. Brother bought the same one as this and was around 56 I think? I shopped around a ton and Darryle Simmers at Brentridge Ford in Wetaskiwin was the best price by far, and no messing around. Just gives the best price up front.

Options are pricey. I get my trucks from Northern Lights Ford in Wawa Ont and really good price and service as they deal in volume. Not too many trucks are on the lot for 3 weeks or more. give them a call at 705 856 2775. they will adjust taxes etc. google them. Heck they flew me to Toronto to get my truck from another dealer. westjet to t.bay ,porter or a.c. to ssm and they will prob give it to you there. I live 2 hrs from them and they drove and returned my wifes explore for servicing. Been with them since 1985 and 7 cars/trucks/vans etc. Road trip time.

Try dealing at Denham ford in Wetaskiwin. I have dealt there for years. Ask for Rob. Doesn't matter what you want ford, chev, gmc, even dodge they are all crazy price. I bought a new F350 6.7 deisel loaded and still paid $77,000.00. Way to much but sure is a nice truck and can sure pull. Good luck on your venture.

Try dealing with a upsideright price and take at least 10gs off

Still would be $63,000 for a half ton! Stupid money.

Bro in Law is getting kind of pissed with the dealers. Think he is going to tell them where they can shove their new pickups.

You can get a decent diesel for that price.

That's what I said! Neighbours kid got a brand new 2016 Platinum F350 for close to that. Can get a pretty nice car for that coin too. I think the deal is at about $60,000 right now with spray in liner and tonneau cover. 0% financing. I think he's going to pull the trigger. To each their own.

Used trucks are hard to find nowadays, not a whole lot more to get brand new.
New dodge basic half $35k, used Dodge $26-28k with 20000-40000 km's... I mean used is still a better deal but not by much.

I would buy new but get a fleet price. A $85,000 Ram Diesel for $65,000. No dickering, no fees etc. You can drive it for 2 years and then sell to the USA and get most of your money back. It is not hard to get in to the fleet program or find someone with a business that can. It is for friends and family too. If you go see the retail salesman the fleet side may not want to talk to you.
