I'd like to add a bit of oil to each tank of fuel in my pro.

How much oil should I be adding? (Jerry can is 20L, tank 40L) Should I pour the oil in then pump in the fuel or do you guys premix in Jerry cans, shake then fill?

All the reading I've done suggests that oil in the fuel does not reach the bottom end on these motors like they did on premix oldies. Hence the reason to turn up the pump... Just what I've come across tho.

I would turn up the pump as well. not sure what it is your riding, but if it's fuel injected the oil can clog injectors as well as changes viscosity of the fuel resulting in an altered fuel/air mix. a carb model may require a jetting change.

Personal opinion... I choose not to turn up the pump, and add 1/2 oz per gallon, shake and pour into the sled. No issues with injectors or fouling plugs.

I always add 200-250g per tank, just to be sure. Works pretty well so far....
