Crazy thing , I read this this morning. And found out tonight that my neighbor has inoperable brain tumour with a year to live tops. 45 ish years old. Unreal how fast can change before you. Really make a guy think about things.

Exactly, live and enjoy life.
Save some for rainy days but there are no pockets in a coffin.
Spend it enjoying life.
It's a pretty short ride.

Never keep track of sledding tab but I have 5 sleds for me and the family. We have fun and spend time together through sledding a lot.
Worth every penny!!!!

I probably average $500 a trip and hopefully will end the year with 8 trip for a cool $4000. I'm sure there is cheaper ways to go but I wouldn't change how we go about things nothing like a great sled trip

I'm bang on there too, few less days than you tho. Seem to be around 12 usually. Plus the 1500-2000 in maintenance/ broken stuff/ gear upgrades.

Three days of riding out west is an average of $1000 per trip. Try to make it out west 4-5 times per year. $4000-$5000 per year. Diesel,gas, food, lodging. 13 hr drive from my house to Sicamous. When riding at home it's usally around $100 a day for gas and essentials,

we have no trail fees . I just buy gas and oil , usually 400$ worth of gear a year the rest is gas and oil.

About 40 bucks a day on fuel and oil I guess and twenty a day on fireball. Live at the staging area so no cost to get there. Don't keep track of how many days. Ride when I feel like it.

We would be about the same ( maybe 2 hours less driving time depending on weather) most years I get 50- 80 days in.
Sh!t that's where all my money goes!
