Hey Folks , just curious how everyone out there are spending on average annually( per season ) to pursuit your sledding passion ?? that include all your travels & accommodations, fuels , trails fees , wearable stuff, new gears , but that exclude snowmobile purchases . Don't do the math exercise over the last 10 years it might explained why you didn't contribute to the max to you retirement plan LOL ;o .
Threw your numbers !!

And please share if there an increase or decrease in trend ....some of us get obsessed ...some of us try to moderate because of life priorities .

Cheers !

I was about $3000 last year before truck/sled fuel. So probably close to $6k with that in.

I work 14 days on 14 days off. I sled about 10 days on my days off. I spend $100 a day for trail fees and gas and oil. I broke my clutches last month and had a break down yesterday. That totalled about $1100. But on average I would say about $1500/month.

Don’t even want to add it up, it’ll hurt too much. $1000 a trip average for expenses then a few thousand a year for repairs. At $3000 in repairs this year minimum after the latest incident. Easily $10-$15k before truck/trailer/sled.

Add in in the wife’s sled when she comes and it’s even more.

Still wouldn’t trade it for anything. Everyone needs a release.

I don't spend near enough as I have not yet been out. Hoping for a busy spring...sledding not work related.
