I put 250 kms on the engine before she went bang! Who would have thought 100dollar carb boot with a small tear would end up costing $2600?

I had that happen on a polaris 250 2stroke quad , torn boot sucked in air and leaned it out ... poof

Were having a good season so far I have a 800 backcountry broke a chain tensioner my son riding a 01 800 mxz were at over 7000 k.m of hard riding
bent a handle bar and blew a belt with over 2500 k.m on it we did well with after market belt .But am thinking a good serous complete service this summer
drive chain ,sprocket, bearings.handle bars, possible bottom end.The backcounrty getting a sled wrap, polish tunnel,complete service we still have a couple more trips plan

My 04 Rev HME 800, after my 4th real good ride. Dropped a cylinder on the clutch side. I think it broke a ring, but I haven't opened it up to confirm. I have no idea what the mileage is, cause that never worked. lol

Bought it used and put on a few hundred kms before it blew due to a half plugged jet or bad fuel.

While waiting for parts went and bought an etec haha.

Put only about 150 miles out of 1100 or so in sask. All the rest has been in the hills with a few more good rides to go.

CVTech redid the crank, and I reinstalled it. Waiting on RKTek pistons & head to show up, then put it all back together....

The balls side jug of my oppossed went in my 74 evinrude quiet flight.

Actually runs a bit smoother on 1 cyclylder, easier to pull over to. Think i'll leave it that way.

I have 9000 ks on my 02 700 rmk . All I have done is changed pistons and crank seals twice as preventative maintenance .
