How many cut there own tree ?

Just got back from cutting down a nice little Spruce tree.
Got me thinking,how many people still chop down their own Xmas tree, now a days...?
When i was a young lad,i always looked forward to ,gettin the tree.........It meant it was not that many days till santa came,once you went and got the "tree".
I can`t remember many of the presents, but i sure remember some fun trips to get our tree....
I carried this on to this day, our kids will do the same.....Merry Christmas !!!

I've Cut my own tree quite a few times, always seem to come home with the saddest little Charlie Brown tree imaginable.

We had a few of them over the years....lol. A little wire and a little triming and they become.......ahh better...lol
On the flip side,if i see one more perfect tree i am gonna barf......

we go out west every year and cut a tree make a day of it sledding and having a fire got a 12 footer this year soninlaws says we are the griswolds

we have done this as a family since my kids were born. 13 yrs now.

we always go get our own tree , took 3 today and played catch and release with 2 of em LOL ... we cut more than that when we are up in the mountains anyways

We'd cut a tree down ourselves....if you could find trees in Southern Alberta

We buy ours from the Kinsmen in Brooks. Pay quite a bit for them, but good to support a local group that does so much for the community.

We look forward to it every year... and make a family event out of it. Back in the day, my twin brother and I would grab a saw and the toboggan and set off on foot to get the family Xmas tree... so needless to say they were pretty much all Charlie Brown christmas tree's, but with a drill and some fishing line you can install branches anywhere you like!!!!
