I tried it in 2011. 15 seconds later I was done

Hey don't beat yourself up, not everyone has the skills and technical aptitude to ride something that's up to date and current. You're probably way more comfortable on the stable both skis planted station wagon platform, like the xp. I know most of the trail riding hotshots in our group love them also. Once they've honed their skills and gained some experience, a lot of em have moved on to a sled more adapted to fun and technical activities. But hey I'm sure you'll be singing the praises of the narrower skinny feeling easy tipping XM soon enough, otherwise you may have to turn your Jammie's into the Edmonton Doo glee club.

Well guys, I ride with almost all poos now and holly crap why would they be all spending money on different parts and boards if they where that greatttt, I will say this, when I get my new XM and go riding with my poo buddies it won't be me asking to try there machine, it will be the other way around, LOL And since it is my enclosed we use, they get to doo all the cleaning on it.hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I got a new poo and if one of my buddies had an XM I would want to try it out to, what’s the big deal? It's new, has a rear skid unlike anything in the aftermarket. How would I know if I like it or not without ridding it?

I really hope your just joking about making your "buddies" clean your sled and or trailer just because they happen to have their sleds in it. If not I am willing to bet most of them are just using you for it or something else. I will admit to having my buds clean my sled but only because I was other cleaning the truck and trailer or won some kind of bet on the hill were cleaning each other’s sleds was the wager.

Have friends who have a different model or brand of sleds make it that much more fun not only can everyone get to try them but we bust on each other and we can crack jokes about the equipment there on, all in good fun of course. I have no delusions about my best friends ridding ability, raised in revy for the first 22yrs of his life coming from a family with very little to spend on sledding made him become the rider he is today, but that doesn’t mean if he gets stuck with his 2012 xp and I happen to make it higher/farther than he did I will stop and take a pic so I can relive the moment and hold it over his head till the next time.

IMO Without good friends sledding would be just a way of transportation.

Well I'm gonna try buddies XM every chance I get and buddies PC every chance I get and especially any offers to take any boosted yammies or 2 strokes for a burn, every chance I get, and I'm gonna enjoy every opportunity. Might not make me wanna run out and buy one , but will contribute to future decisions. Why would you not ?

always makes me laugh poo vs doo guys small minds.....both are wicked i have a 2011 pro 155 and a 2013 xm 154. I think they both have there positives and to be honest my pro in a heads up race last year pulled harder faster and blew away 2012 freeride 2011 m8 and a yammy. I think the new xm will be amazing haven't had it in the mountains yet but this week we will be heading out very interested to see how it performs. I can tell by standing on the shop floor it rolls over very easily unlike the freight trains of the past i think this one will actually turn!!! Anyway keep up the arguing its kinda entertaining and have a safe fun riding season....

Well just seen in the doo section, FredW weighing etec wiring harness and sensors, little over 16 pounds. Could Maxwell be right?:p

im never right. ever look at the rear cooling system on a pro? theres another 20 lbs. the funny thing is if you look at the dynamics of the pro rmk chassis there is NOTHING llighter about it. it all comes down to components and the only thing they have that is lighter that the skidoo does not is the carbon peices and the belt drive. so in reality we are talking about 5-10 lbs of "material" that is lighter chassis wise. the rest is all extra features that cary the extra weight.

Way easier to show it on the hill than to type it on the interweb.

FML... Last year it was Doo vs. Cat. I switch to a POO and now it's Doo vs. Poo. I swear it's a conspiracy. My head hurts reading thru all this stuff... It never ceases to amaze me how
many people try so hard to catch Maxwell in a trap of his own words when 90% of what he says is just BS to rile people up and watch them go to toon town on the keyboard just to prove a point. Although it is funny to watch it go down, I have read endless posts in this thread and I am still clueless as to "How Polaris does it?". From what I get out of this thread it DOON'T???

We should all vote for which side won this round, and then start another thread about flickable driveshafts and Eco-friendly fuel conserving teeter totters and how much they weigh and why the glue wont hold because the sky is blue and monkeys don't love hammers. WHUUUUTTTT??? ;)

And Trish Drinkle (Momma) can be the referee because she loves everyone an we are all getting hugs with her mind :)

OH. MY. GAWD. Pleasesnow! Pleasesnow! Pleasesnow! Pleasesnow! Pleasesnow! Pleasesnow! Pleasesnow!
