try mongoose machine in port coquitlam for the cylinder. probably a fair amount cheaper than buying new.

From my past dealings with mongoose, to have a cylinder welded and re coated was $600. Do they do cylinder swaps?

i had one cyl welded and re coated, crank bearings done and top and bottom end gasket kits for 7 and change. that was 2 or 3 years ago so who knows now. best of luck anyways.

When I was looking at cylinders Mongoose was the most expensive of anyone I got a quote from in North America.
