Kanedog 2015-2019, thanks for the good times S&M!
We are tryin to burning off my buddies summer tires but we can't get it to shift past 2nd gear. It loses rpm and wont get this bitch spinnin fast. Traction control off. Tried in 1st, just drive, manual shifting but no fun yet. Without traction control we can get it to be a cool one tire fire but not 2 tires. 2 tire spin spins slow.
Any of you crazy yahoos got this down? Help. Almost out of beer, beer dtore not open yet and lots of tire left.

When I was in New Zealand 20 years ago it was a trend for the teen kiwis to pour a bunch of diesel then burn out = extreme smoke show.

Hahaha it's a FoRd good luck.
Light wipe of used oil on the tires worked wonders on my 69 satellite with 318.
Kind of abusive though....mine was on its way to demo derby so I didn't care.

There’s 2 steps to traction control too
Push once disabled one level
Hold button for 8 seconds disables second level

I think it still pulls back on power when brake is pressed

Yea you need to take the 2nd stage off - hold the button down and it'll beep after 8 or 10seconds..

Take tires off and put them on a bonfire .....

Really - this is why people think that every one that has a diesel truck is an a$$hole who doesn't care about the environment. Only more fuel for the greenies.

Get the back tires in the ditch and it should be easy to get them spinning. Get shifted into at least 4th gear full throttle before releasing the brakes. When your wildly spinning tires hit the pavement they are sure to spin for a bit. Should be good for cleaning the carbon out of your engine, and testing the durability of your driveline.

I was going to enter a burnout competition with my 69 charger but budy who was putting it on said he wouldn’t let me. Says he seen too many fenders taken out in the past when tires blew.

Turn the traction control completely off, put it in manual mode 2nd and start roasting them, don't push the throttle right to the floor though, then when they are good and warm you should be able to shift up, again only like 3/4 throttle and don't use diff lock or traction control kicks in

but it's a Ford... it'll need head gaskets, Turbo's, intercooler, fuel injectors, turbo cooler, trans overhaul, driveshafts, differentials etc etc as it's trying to light up the tires
