Everyone happy with there roads this winter?

Nice to see our local snowmobile club keeps the trails in better shape then our highways...but I guess this is what you get paying minimum wage and hiring the pan handlers of the street and putting them in charge of your family's saftey.

Add a few people that clearly shouldnt drive in the winter and 40 cars piled up behind the plow. Was a great drive home tonight.

Not sure but seeing a pattern with falling snow and stupidity...40 km is not the speed limit but perhaps the iq of some drivers.
ugh.☃️

We have had the same guy running the grader for over 10 years. He does a good job and is always great when you pass him and or need to get by him. Does an all around good job. He gets a bit behind but he eventually catches up. You can tell when he gets behind as he jumps a gear or two and creates a little wash board! Lol

Have to wonder who is in bed with who.
Every year they get paid more and do less but the gov't just renewed contract for 7 years.

Everything is terrible here, the highways, the city and especially the airport. They had to cancel flights because of the fog yesterday, why isn't somebody doing something about this! lol

last Friday we drove back from Vancouver and there was total carnage on the Coquihalla and snowing like crazy. From Bear snow shed all the way to Armstrong we saw 2 plows and they were both at the summit. Told my wife that back in the day where they were government run it was overkill and now we have the exact opposite. Money over lives! Then add to the fact idiots driving way beyond the road conditions.

The sooner everyone in BC realizes that the only roads that matter are within 50 miles of Vancouver the happier you'll all be. From the disgrace that is the trans Canada through BC to the rest of the narrow, windy poorly maintained roads throughout the rest of the province, you guys in BC get screwed by your government.

Here in Windermer valley they do not clear off all snow on the bridges. That makes bridges 4 to 5 feet narrower. So please be careful.

the trans canada is primarily a Federal responsibility not provincial. The secondary highways are provincial.

We had a crash the other day...the plow trucks were there like sh$t hawks on road kill. I'm like thanks we need three of you spreading your 3/4 road gravel on site after the vehicle is in the ditch, now how about the rest of the Hwy as they retreat back to the yard for a well deserved rest.
