Hey guys, wondering if you locals could pass on any information on a rental (house or condo) over the Christmas/New Year break. Looking to come down for a week with the family and introduce the wife, daughter and youngest son to mountain riding. Would need a place to park an 4 place enclosed and F-350.

Also, any suggestions for things for the wife/daughter to do if they don't enjoy the riding?

Thanks in advance.

I can’t halo with the housing, but There are options for the pass times. There is always swimming indoors in salmon arm, or outdoors at crazy creek hot pools. Both would be great ideas, and crazy creek is awesome after a day on the hill.

Nice place !!!
Was looking at same area but figured for the same price I could build something better. Any truth or is the ease/convience being in town like that a plus?

you would be hard pressed to build a unit like that for 280k in my opinion. especially with 16ft cinder block walls and 14 foot door etc. Being in town is great. Im sure you could build something Similar for 300k...maybe....but the reason we like this is because it is a condo complex so absolutely everything is looked after which is very important for us being away most of the time. Lock and Leave as they say. The only downside is you are limited on outdoor space. The ease and convenience of being right next to all the amenities is a huge plus.

Thanks Maxwell, this is exactly what we we're looking for, unfortunately the dates we wanted are booked. I've saved the link though, and will most likely attempt to rent when we come out later in the season.

We wound up booking in Grizzly Lodge, so that should be an adventure.

Again, thanks to everyone that responded, greatly appreciated.

Don't forget tire chains if you're pulling a trailer into the lodge.
