So i drained the tub, vaccumed out the lines.
Pump looks fine, just a block of ice though.
Once it thaws out should be fine.

This heating elemement looks fine, but it was tripping the breaker instantly, so there is a short in it and need a new one. 50$

Beachcomber tubs have always been good to me but their service center SUCKS.... it's a 3rd party set up and they tried to scam me for $6000 in repairs - told them to fawk themselves and did the repairs myself with parts from spa-tech in Spruce, they were awesome to deal with, budget friendly rebuilt pumps, provided advice and parts.

Down east we had a bullfrog tub and it was an awesome unit - picked it up used (6 years old) for $3500 and it was flawless for over 2 years till we sold the house. I can't believe the price of new ones - I love my hot tubs, have had one for the past 15 years at all 3 houses. We will get one for the new house but I have to have an electrician in to revamp my electrical and add a pony panel to feed the outdoor GFI - my current indoor panel is maxed.

Our sunray tub is still working fine. In 14 years had the pump seal replaced 4 times, only on one of the pumps.

the cover guy

makes nice covers and a good price
Sound like they have went down hill pretty hard. Reading a bunch of reviews on them, and sounds like their quality isnt that great, and they are absolutely horrible with warranty.

Does anyone know a Stacey (a man) around the edmonton area that works in hot tubs. I used to get stuff from him 20 years ago when I lived in Beaumont and he was great. Seemed like he actually had some integrity.

I've ignored my Arctic Spa for 2 years, it needs fresh water and a good cleaning. Then fresh water and for me to actually use it.

Wont be getting the part till later in the week. And it supposed to go to -30 again in a few days. So probably out of commission for 2 or 3 weeks until it warms up again.

Going to get one of those thermometers that I can check from my phone. If it was real cold out could have been worse!

I love mine. Spa boy app takes care of everything. I wanna get another one for the lake. But $$$$ and I also don’t really need two tubs. So many times I leave the lake cause I gotta chill and I wanna go home to my Hot Tub lol

I don't have spa boy on mine. It was here when we bought the acreage. It has the onzen salt system though. I thought about having them retrofit it with spaboy.

It works good. Once a month I add salt balance. Monitoring water on app. So easy. They say we should manually check it. But we just go by the app almost always.
